How do I enable post-purchase review emails?

With TrustedSite Reviews you can automatically send out post-purchase emails to your customers which makes getting valuable reviews from your customers a simple and automated process. To enable this feature, please follow the steps below. If you're a platform customer (Shopify, BigCommerce, etc), please click here for instructions

  1. Log in to your account at mcafeesecure.com.
  2. Make sure you’ve selected Website Certification in the top left dropdown menu.

  3. If you have multiple websites, select the desired site by clicking on the site URL in the left navigation bar.

  4. Select Setup Wizard in the left navigation bar.

  5. Scroll down to the Confirmation Page Code section. 

  6. You will need to add the code in the gray box to your website's confirmation page. This code needs to be customized to work properly. Click here for more information.

  7. Once the code is added to your site, go back to the Setup Wizard to turn on the email in the Post Purchase Reviews Collection Email section just below the confirmation code.

  8. Your customers will now automatically receive an email after making a purchase. You can see a copy of the email here.
